Children of Ouroboros

Before life. Before death. Before time.

Long before the first civilization, before life, death, or even time, there was only the Void. From that endless emptiness emerged Ouroboros, the Eternal Serpent — the first consciousness and the source of all existence. Rather than rule creation, Ouroboros became creation itself. Its sacrifice birthed magic, souls, life, matter, and time.

Yet something else existed alongside creation. The Hollow — ancient beings that are not evil, but anti-existence itself. They seek only one thing: a return to nothingness. To prevent reality from being consumed, a prison was created. The Cycle became the mechanism that keeps that prison intact.

For generations, humanity has accepted the Cycle as a blessing.

The Twelve are about to discover it is a cage.
